Simplicity-->LOVE&&More!

Kisses for Em
So this was the actual 'day of' Emily's birthday. We all loaded in my parent's SUV and headed to town for some food and presents! It's a tradition in our family that the birthday boy/girl get to pick their choice of dining then they get to stop at their choice department store and get a present...ANYTHING they like (within reason:) But these fun and loving and silly photos were all taken in the car on the ride there!! I am entering this photo into Faith's "Love" challenge this week. It's no secret I love my lil' sister as if she were my own kid! To see more 'love'ly photos visit Faith's blog by clicking on the button below!!

Kisses for DIll from Auntie
Even Dillon was sharing the love on his 8-year-old Auntie's birthday! This was an easy pick for my "Sweet Shot" entry over at the "My 3 Boybarians" Blog! It was a sweet moment for me!!
Sweet Shot Day
my HUBBY!
And OH ME GOSH! (as my son says)...I've gotta say there's something about this photo I snapped of my husband that I love. I can't quite put my finger on it... his expression, the focus...the depth..idk! But I've gotta say it's a favorite I've taken in a while!! This will be my entry for "The Happiness Project" over at the Leigh Vs. Laundry blog. Instead of me being insanely happy that this handsome man is my husband..I'm happy he lets me capture a shot or two once every few months (he's soooo not a camera person!:)

church play
This photo is my entry for the theme "Reason for the Season" over at the Trendy Treehouse. First thing in my mind was family, which that is my 2nd biggest reason because although we like to give and receive gifts family and togetherness comes first and is more important. But then I said to myself, "Self" I said..."The season EXISTS because it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, our powerful saviour who came to this world pure and good to die for our sins. So the reason for the season is in fact Jesus Christ! This play took place at my home church this past Sunday, and at this moment all the kids were gathered around a baby Jesus in a manger...They were wise men and angels....and although you can't see Jesus Himself (which was a little plastic babydoll) you could feel His presence! Enjoy this Christmas friends and give all the glory to God!! ((Also I'm entering this photo in Perceptive Perspective's theme "Peace"! Peace on Earth, Good will towards Men!!:)))

And of course all of these photos can go towards my Communal Global entry~! This is from my part of the world to yours :)

So much love in this post! I don't even know where to start. ;)

It's great to see that you have such a close relationship with your younger sister, despite the age difference. The photo of her with your son is just adorable!

Great photo of your hubby - it has a moody feel to it. My fiance is the same way; he avoids being in my photos at all cost!

I love your "reason for the season" photo. It's so true, and it's especially miraculous to see it through a child's eyes.
