Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Okay I haven't joined in Ashley's weekly challenge Scavenger Hunt Sunday over at her blog, Ramblings and Photos. So this week I -am- entering YAY! Here are my interpretations for this week: (And you can find more entries or enter yourself by clicking this button!!:)

1.This is Me
Jan7-Day Eight
Yep, this is me. Me minus my beloved makeup and my hair before I straighten it! AH :-O! Hope I don't scare you too awful bad ;-P. Just kiddin'! I actually love something about his pic and I usually HATE photos with no makeup/crazy hair! ;)

2.Resolutions
Jan8
Well...almost every year as long as I can remember that I've made "resolutions" 'loosing weight' has been one. I've never been 'skinny' or the ideal size/weight for my height BUT I've never looked like I weighed as much as I do, if that makes sense. All the women on my Mom's side of the family, including my Mom, had broad shoulders and 'bigger boned' than your average petite lady...the women in my Dad's family were the exact opposite, shorter than average and VERY small/petite. Well I took after my Mom's side of the family...my shoulder's are broader than the average womans and I have the 'child bearing hips' as they've been called...I am doing my own little weight loss plan/regimen now and soon will have my Zumba thanks to a couple of great friends and later will join our local gym. But I didn't really make a list of resolutions this year, I chose the "one word" for the year which I mentioned in this post.

3.Treasured
Muh Baby!
Okay I didn't copy Ashley's idea for this word ;) I was gonna use Dillon here BUT I plan on using a photo of him for "innocence" and I love this picture and wanted to incorporate it somewhere and OF COURSE I treasure my hubby, he is the awesome-est! He and Dillon both have that 'special something' in their eyes. Their eyes are just beautiful. Never seen another set of eyes like them.

4.Innocence
Isn't the the CUTEST!
Does this face not SCREAM innocence??! We got all bundled up to go check the mail yesterday evening and we had to make a trip down to "Granny's" (my Mom's) to see if we had left a bag of clothes down there (FYI we live next door to my parents..) and Dillon hadn't really had the chance to be out in the snow..well the last one we had on Christmas and right before this shot he had grabbed a handful of the stuff and threw it everywhere! He giggled and laughed in amazement at the cold, wet white stuff! That to me said "innocence".
The Paper Mama
Although I used the dead weed as my "Resolutions" photo the theme this week over at The Paper Mama is also Resolutions and the photo is to be centered around your kids/pets...so I am using this photo of Dillon as my Resolution entry but the description remains under the photo for "Resolutions" :)

5.Primitive
S&S
This was at sunset yesterday (1.9.11) and there are a few deer skulls with antlers hanging on my parent's carport posts. Bones/skulls to me are primitive, so I thought it would be a good fit here. I also added the scripture to it so that I could enter it into Scripture and a Snapshot!

Your entire set this week is beautiful Natalie - I love your selfie (you look beautiful without makeup) and I've never seen Dillon so happy! Hope you have an awesome week my friend.

Such great shots! I really love the old deer skull on the post at sunset, it's like the sun setting on the past to awaken to a new day. So cool.

Also, you said STRAIGHTEN your hair?? Your hair IS straight girl! I wish my hair was that straight before doing anything with it, ha ha ha, instead I have this horrible "half" curl that just makes me want to chop all my hair off every single day.
