I know, I know..you saw the crabapples the other day.. BUT this was a BETTER photo in my opinion AFTER I learned how to use the macro properly on my new lens. Thanks for not being aggravated at my double-post :-D

I love dark red crab apples...on the tree. My elderly mother has a beautiful tree full of red jewels this fall. I took some photos but wasn't happy with the results.
As for your sky...wow! Look at the stripes of color!
