Angel #1
Same Angel but with one of my FAV actions ran...
And Angel #2...with more centered bokeh + texture...
Eh?? Is it worth the hour and a half I spent on it and then the 45 minutes I spent picking textures and editing?? Hope so! If anyone is interested in how I did this..please feel free to comment and if anyone is..I'll post a sort've "how-to" for these photos tomorrow! Have a good night...and thanks to all my sweet followers/friends!!
Oh and I'm entering the photos into the You Capture theme this week which is "Holiday Magic"..this seems magical to me!!

ha 45 minutes? that's a mere blink of an eye in photoshop land :) it looks great.
excellent work!
I {HEART} bokeh also!!
Merry Christmas Chicka!
It's all a part of the creative process! Love your bokehs!
Totally worth it!
I've been working on a tutorial for this, and you did awesome! Love the angel, and the heart highlights really set the photo off.
Yep U did a great job. One day in the near future, I am going to set about learning photoshop. I love being creative.
If you enjoyed that time, then YES it was worth it. And for whatever else its worth, i think that each version of your photo is stunning.
So, so pretty!
Sure hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas, Natalie!
I love all these star and heart bokeh tricks I'm seeing on the blogs.. gorgeous! And I must try this before the season is gone and my house full of lights is put away til next year :)
I haven't used photoshop yet, but I am planning on trying it soon. I am very nervous, it seems hard! These shots turned out lovely!!!
Love this technique but is there a way to do it in Picnik? I'm just an amateur and don't have photoshop. I found one tool in there but it does it to the entire picture instead of a portion of it. Still learning every day.
I am not postive chic homeschool mama, but i do know there is some free programs out there that have similar functions as photoshop, one is paint.NET ..google that and its a free download...you can do layers and add textures and do blend modes and all kinds of stuff! I hope it helps!!
Fantastic bokeh! I've recently started playing with bokeh and find it to be really fun.
