I (literally) "Heart" Bokeh!!

(AND TEXTURES!!) I am becoming a sucker for textures lately. I found some insanely awesome ones too (FINALLY!). After MANY trials and errors tonight I came out with TWO images out of like 20-30 taken that I loved enough to share with you guys!! These are my angels with bokeh hearts...I know the hearts aren't 'perfectly shaped' but hey...it's as close as it gets! What do you think:
bokeh angel1
Angel #1
bokeh angel1+action
Same Angel but with one of my FAV actions ran...
bokeh angel2
And Angel #2...with more centered bokeh + texture...

Eh?? Is it worth the hour and a half I spent on it and then the 45 minutes I spent picking textures and editing?? Hope so! If anyone is interested in how I did this..please feel free to comment and if anyone is..I'll post a sort've "how-to" for these photos tomorrow! Have a good night...and thanks to all my sweet followers/friends!!
Oh and I'm entering the photos into the You Capture theme this week which is "Holiday Magic"..this seems magical to me!!

I've been working on a tutorial for this, and you did awesome! Love the angel, and the heart highlights really set the photo off.

I haven't used photoshop yet, but I am planning on trying it soon. I am very nervous, it seems hard! These shots turned out lovely!!!

Love this technique but is there a way to do it in Picnik? I'm just an amateur and don't have photoshop. I found one tool in there but it does it to the entire picture instead of a portion of it. Still learning every day.

I am not postive chic homeschool mama, but i do know there is some free programs out there that have similar functions as photoshop, one is paint.NET ..google that and its a free download...you can do layers and add textures and do blend modes and all kinds of stuff! I hope it helps!!

Fantastic bokeh! I've recently started playing with bokeh and find it to be really fun.
