Oh How I Miss Spring..

You will find that the title of my blog has nothing to do with it's content :). It's simply a late night and I'm still up while my husband is snoozing as he has to wake up at 4:00 in the morning for work (Ick!) and I couldn't go to bed at 10:30. So I decided to sit awake and work on my blog posts for Tuesday(/today).

I only too one measley photo today(/yesterday)..this is so confusing to write since it's 12:30 AM so technically Tuesday .. but on January 10th (phahah) I took one measley photo. (For my 365 of course). Normally when I pull the camera out I can't get by with taking no less than 12-15. But today/yesterday was 'one of those days'. I had an all day headache and felt kinda 'blah' and very un-motivated. But now I'm trying to get tired enough for bed..anyways here's some entries for Tuesday's challenges:

Trendy Treehouse:Bubbles
Hardy Har Har
Now tell me this isn't cute! Every single bath he takes first thing he does is get his Toy Story bubbles from the cabinent. He loves bubbles. Now he's starting to lay down on his back in the shallow bath water and I guess the water and bubbles that get in his ears and pop tickle because he laughs hysterically when he lays down :)To vote for this little cheeser GO TO THIS LINK and vote for him in the comments section! PLEASE!! To see more 'bubbles' shots go here:

The Happiness Project
Me and my Neice Savannah
This is me and my neice, Savannah. She is SO crazy...but I love her! I love to hang out with her and her Mom (my Sis-In-Law). You could say it makes me happy. I'm also entering this shot into Sweet Shot Tuesday. To see mor entries for both, follow the buttons below!

Touch Up Tuesday
This is also going to be my Day 11 for the 365 Project...sorry I had to share it once already ;) I try to choose photos to share that I'm not using for the POTD. But I really liked the edit so I wanted to share. Here is my SOOC shot:
jan10-BEFORE
F/2.8
S1/60
Iso 200
50mm
Here is my Edit:
Pirate Necklace Jan 10th
Opened in Adobe Raw and auto-correted the white balance and adjusted fill light, sharpness and luminance. Ran "Vintage Film" action found on DeviantART. Added a texture from Night Fate (also found on DeviantART) Did a "soft light" overlay. Turned opacity down to about 33% and erased the texture off the pirate skull! Viola! To see more touch ups head on over to the Paper Heart Camera blog!

Communal Global
? What are these? any one know!? Jan 9th
I've not the slightest idea as to what these are. Anyone know? I know they're all around here and all I'd have to do is a little digging and research right here on my computer but I figure maybe off the top of their head someone knows? If so please do share! :)
Jan 8th-HANDY
I really like how everything is in pretty good focus except for his hand. It looks as if it's 'smearing' but really it's just motion blur from where my shutter speed was so low! Hah! For more "Around the World" entries go on over to Communal Global!

{Late} Happy Monday/Something Cold
jan 8 Footprints
Here is my late entry for Happy Monday..the theme this week was 'something cold' and snow is VERY cold and nippy! These are little man's footsteps in the snow on our way down our driveway! To see more go to Allie's blog and check them out!

I'm going to leave off and say a big thanks to all the new followers friends I've gained lately. You are all always very appreciated and I always hope I can give something interesting back to such a lovely audience in my blog. If you notice I do change my blog a LOT (as far as backgrounds and headers and design goes) but that's just me..I like change! I have found so much inspiration and have read so many words of encouragement from all you guys and it truly touches my heart that you keep coming back and reading or viewing my work and passion! I feel as if I'm improving daily and hope that it's showing because I am working harder to think outside the box and photograph all kinds of different subjects and not just people or my son!

I am a creative soul, I've always been interested in drawing and sewing and "making" things with my hands (and by the way, you guys who commented first on my Pay it Forward post, I have found a great little something to make but I have to the the materials so bear with me and I hope you like it!). I like to venture out and try new things or put my own signature and spin on my photos whether it be something simple or huge. I will help out anyone who asks and will give any info I know on where to get actions or 'how-to' do things..so don't ever hesitate to ask! I'm here to share with the blogging community because most of what I learn is inspired by or taught by you guys!! Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
