Good Morning!

Well it's exactly 6:33 as I start this post...my hubby gets up at 5:45 AM for work and I get up with him. If I go to bed with him the night before at 10:30/11 I'll get up and stay up. If I stay up till say 2 AM the night before I'll get up, get him out the door and go back to bed..hehehe. Anyways enough about that!

If I participate in the next week or so's challenges you'll more than likely see some re-run photos or old ones I've not used...I shipped my beloved Sony to her new owner yesterday (*sniffle again) and now I'll be aimlessly searching for the "perfect" used/new to me Canon :-). So it may be a week or two (possibly three) before I get the body at the price I want and then lens too! So bear with me and hopefully keep comin back! (I also still have my trusty Canon Powershot point and shoot to use in the mean time ;)

Okay so the theme at Simplicity is macro!
MAR1-6
I love the golden yellow/blue tones in this photo as well as the bokeh and DOF. I may have shared it a few posts back but oh well ;)

Next up 2babycakes 1happyfamily's theme for this week is "Sky". Here is a recent shot of a typical sunset we see here!

PS-Notice the grass is getting greener (YAY!)

To be able to get out of the house and be outside is pure joy for me. But even moreso for the kiddies! I love this shot of my baby sister...the lighting and bokeh and crispness..yumm!
Eyelashes
And this showcases my baby boy's eyelashes so well! I was grocery shopping this past Sunday and I couldn't begin to tell you how many people stop us to talk about how beautiful his eyes are! He's becoming famous! Teehee!

Yikes! I feel for you - I know what it's like to be without your favorite camera for a few weeks - no fun. At least you still have your point and shoot :)
LOVE the tones in your macro shot - and your boy's eyelashes are AMAZING! That's a great shot - love it!

Beautiful, Natalie! The colors in the top photo are so brilliant. I love your baby boys eyes, too. My husband leaves before 6 as well, but I just can't seem to pull myself together so early! (I tell myself he appreciates his 'alone' time in the morning. he he)

Lovely shots Natalie and I hope you get a camera body soon. I'm on the lookout for a new one aswell. You have lovely views of the sunsets and why is it that boys always seem to have the most wonderful eyelashes.

I love your photos!

I'm amazed you get up that early. No way in heck I would. I am not a morning person. I have to wake up at 7 to get my kids to school and that is early enough for me.

Oh how exciting to be getting a new camera. I am only 4 months into mine & even though I love it- I still find myself shopping for another. My husband thinks I have lost my mind :)
