4 Amazing Years...

Today is Jon and I's FOUR YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!! I of course had to take some time aside to talk about us and him for a moment! I know I mush and gush all the time about how much I love him but this lets me make a day out of it ;).

We were married four years ago today-(May 5th, 2007)-at Orange Grove Baptist Church at 2:30 PM. Our wedding was smaller-red and white, close family and friends. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Alhtough we had alreay been together four years before our wedding-I still had butterflies. It was an amazing day and tops the charts as (ONE) of the best days of my life.

I'm lucky to say I truly married my best friend. We aren't perfect, we have our disagreements, fights and arguments but we forgive fast and love strongly. He has changed so much in four years, moreso in the 8 we've been together. He has become a strong willed, hard-working man who provides for his family spectacularly and I can't thank him enough for what he does for us on a daily basis. He has been a coal miner for 3 years, we've went through LOTS of struggles together; loosing loved ones, loosing friends, sicknesses, break downs, job loss...all of it but none has proven themselves our champions for we have overcome every single obstacle the devil has thrown at us and conqured them as a team and through our faith in God and will to survive we have become stronger individually and as a couple.

He is (in my eyes) the world's greatest father. He has proven himself not only to be a reliable father figure but also a soft-hearted kind friend who Dillon looks up to and strives to be like. He is respectful and helps Dillon do anything he wants to try, like helping Daddy fix the lawn mower or dunking a basketball..Seeing those two together bonding like father and son should melts my heart and at times have even brought tears to my eyes. Those were "thankful for my blessings" tears that I still can't stress enough to God of how blessed He has made me with this family of mine.

I love my husband more and more everyday. My love grows by leaps and bounds and when I think that I can't love him any more than I do RIGHT NOW he proves to me that I can with his soft southern boy charm and his sweet smile that he only gives to me. I love you Jonathon Howard Franklin. You have my heart and always will! I'd do anything for you and our little boy and I can't wait to spend 50+ more years together!!!

This song is appropriate for how I feel♥
