So Many Passions, So Little Time!

My gosh how the days fly and I find more and more challenges to enter every week and although sometimes it's hard to keep up with, I LOVE it because I love to meet new people, learn from them and grow with my skills in photography, arts and crafts, cooking and whatever else I stumble in and out of. Of course having a 20 month old toddler doesn't make it easy to cram all this stuff into one day..so I have to go back and forth between different hobbies at different times so I can devote full time to one particular project at a time.

I love being creative and original. I try to do things that haven't been done, or things that may have been done but not very repetitively, in other words things you see but don't see much. I try to make my own mark in everything I try and come out feeling accomplished and my creative fuse is much brighter if I succeed in what I'm striving for. Photography takes me to my 'happy' place. It's addictive and my poor computer has around 1,000 +/- photos at a time in it's system! But I print them and save them to a flash drive (for now) and just continue to keep taking and taking and taking photos, and doing the 365 project gives me a reason and excuse to pull the camera out everyday! It's been fun so far!

Anyhow I have got a surprise for all my blogger followers, but I have to get it all together first...so maybe in a week or two I will unveil it and hopefully get great feedback and responses! I hope everyone is enjoying the little bit of summer we have left, I will miss it but I can't lie when I say I'm definitely ready for fall, it was extremely hot all summer where I live and we are finally getting a break in the heat and it's been bearable to take the little guy out in the early evenings to play and not have a sweat bath! Humidity was what was getting us I think. But I appreciate all the comment love I have been receiving and will return the favors! Have an awesome Tuesday and wonderful rest of the week!

Hahah! That's a good way of looking at it! I have been thinking on and off about having another, my son is 20 months old, I don't know though, I haven't got the 'feeling' yet..if ya know what I mean..but then again, I have faint feelings so I don't know what I should do! :-)

I want to do like you - put my own spin on my photos. But, I feel like I cant get out of the same ol' same ol' groove. It's hard. I think I need to take a photography class or something.

I can't wait to see what you have as a surprise!!!

Well this surprise may just help you out then! :-) What do you edit with?

Boy you are right that photography is addictive! I love that we live in this internet age where you can find a whole community of people to learn from and share with, people you never would have known otherwise. That's what's really helped me to grow as a photographer (and still got a long way to go!)

Amen to that! We all want to be original and have our own touch to things but to find your mark you have to learn SOMEWHERE right? These blogs with their photogrqohy tutorials and freebies are like heaven because it lets you learn and put a new twist on it! Then you branch off on your creative tree of originality and grow as a person and a photographer!
