I was sooo flattered to have gotten so many responses on my last post announcing I had great news. As I well figured most of you assumed it had to do with a teenie bundle of joy for my husband and I and I assured most of the ones who thought that-that it wasn't the "news" hehe! Sooooo I guess you will have to wait! ;)
I have missed the bloggy world, but we've had "one of those" weeks. Tuesday morning my husband called me at 6:30 AM during his drive to work telling me I needed to come get the Durango later that day and bring it to an alignment shop because it was acting really weird and trying to lock up on him when he turned. (Since you all know he wrecked his truck a couple months ago, we only have the ONE vehicle now) so my Mom had to take me to Madisonville to get it. He made sure to tell me to drive below 40 MPH because it was really bad...so I got in and IMMEDIATELY said a prayer for God to watch over me and get me there safely. Thankfully there was an alignment shop about 3 miles down the road from his work, I drove 25 MPH with caution lights on the whole way.
I did that because when I turned out of the road he worked on, I swear the tire felt like it was going to fall off. Now I'm not a huge "car" person, I don't know parts or things like that..I know basics like how to change oil and but fluids in. But when I got to the shop I told the man there that I think the tire was going to fall off, he said he'd call when they figured out the problem. Well, it wasn't 30 minutes later I got the call saying it was a miracle I made it there without the front end falling out because EVERYTHING needed replaced and they were scared to even move it from the garage. WOW. God is good. We may not be the luckiest people but we are blessed ;)
Anyways onward we go! Thanks to the ladies over from THEME THURSDAY for choosing the photo I took of my husband's Rhino as a TOP 5 shot from their "Transportation" theme last week!
For Friday Photo Fun the theme is peace and quiet, something I hardley know about ;) but the day I took this it was ALL peace and all quiet! For show off my shot, I don't really have any 'special' tips or tricks I used here. Just took the shot and did a clean edit in CS5! :)
This is our front yard....I love it!
